1. How long does it take you to ship my piece?
Every piece is handcrafted to order. It takes 5-6 business days from the time we get your order to the time it’s shipped. Contact us if you have any additional questions.
2. When will my piece arrive?
After your piece is shipped, the arrival time varies based on its destination:
US delivery time: 3-5 days
Canada delivery time: 7-10 days
Mexico delivery time: 2-3 days
Rest of the world: 10-15 days
International customers, please note that local postal charges (sales tax, customs duties, and local tariffs) may occur, depending upon your region and local requirements. Payment of these charges may be required before delivery of your parcel can be made. These charges are at the customer's own expense.
3. I need my piece to arrive much sooner. Is this possible?
Yes, we offer express shipping for an additional price. Please contact us before placing your order to calculate shipping and see what other options we can offer.
4. How do I take care of my piece?
All pieces are sufficiently strong, but delicate, so it’s always better to care for them as you would with any fragile element. Every piece has an anti-tarnish coat, but it will naturally tarnish over time. To diminish this, read the following recommendations (for pieces without appliques):
a. Keep your piece in its box. This will protect it from the elements and will ensure its sparkling look for longer.
b. Wipe your piece with a cotton cloth after wearing it to get rid of any residue.
c. If extensive tarnish develops try the following bath: On an aluminum pan or an aluminum wrapped bowl, dissolve 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Heat 1 cup of water in the microwave for less than 2 minutes. The water should be hot but not boiling. Pour the hot water over the salt and baking soda mixture. Stir the mixture so the ingredients combine. Place your piece in the mix. When you see the tarnish is gone, remove your piece. This can take a few seconds or up to two minutes. Clean your piece with a dry, soft cloth to remove any remaining tarnish. Store it back in its box.
5. I’m not entirely sure what type of hairstyle would go with my piece; do you have any recommendations?
Hairstylists are amazing! They can guide you based on the look and feel you want, and can work with your piece to create a completely unique style. We also have an inspiration hairstyling board on our Pinterest page you can look at, and hopefully find something you like. 6. My wedding has a very specific color scheme, can you add something extra to my piece to tie it with the overall theme?
Absolutely! Our custom orders allow you to include many appliques to your piece. We specialize in porcelain motifs, but can also work with crystals, stones, and other elements. See our custom order section to see a few photos.
7. I have an idea for my piece, can we design something around it?
Yes! I love creating pieces that deviate from our original designs, so send me an email to info@onfoundations.com to chat about it.
8. Will my piece look exactly like the one in the picture?
Every piece is handcrafted, and they all end up with different and unique patterns. They all have the triangulated structure, but their handmade nature makes each one unique.
9. Do I have to pay with PayPal?
No, we use PayPal for checkout, but you can pay with any credit/debit card. Let us know if you have any issues when you pay.
10. I’d like to order something as a gift. Can it be shipped somewhere other than my address?
Of course! Leave us a note at checkout with the name and address of where you’d like us to send the piece. You can also add a personal message which we’ll include on a card.
